Many friends may not know the manufacturing process of spark plug, today I will tell you about it. Spark plug is one of the main components in the ignition system of automobile engine. The role of spark plug is to introduce high-voltage electricity generated by ignition coil into engine cylinder, generate spark between spark plug electrodes to ignite mixed oil and gas, and the mixed oil and gas combust and expand to provide energy required for engine power output. The traditional spark plug mainly comprises a center electrode, a ceramic insulator, a metal shell and a side electrode welded on the metal shell in structure, wherein the center electrode is arranged at one end of the spark plug, the side electrode is arranged at the same end of the spark plug corresponding to the center electrode, and a specific gap is arranged between the center electrode and the side electrode. With the aid of this specific gap, an electric arc can be generated between the center electrode and the side electrode under the action of pulse power, and then an electric spark can be generated to achieve the purpose of automatic ignition. However, the structure of the side electrode of the conventional spark plug mainly comprises a connecting plate and a cross plate, wherein the cross plate corresponds to the center electrode, and the connecting plate is arranged between the cross plate and the metal shell to maintain the cross plate at a specific position on the center electrode, and a specific gap is spaced between the cross plate and the center electrode. Further, the transverse plate is usually a solid plate body. Automotive spark plugs, spark plug manufacturers, Cixi spark plugs, Yuyao spark plugs, Ningbo spark plugs, Zhejiang spark plugs, Guangzhou spark plugs, all have our customers, and we also hope more friends to join us. It is precisely because the side electrode of the traditional spark plug adopts the structure of a solid plate body that the following situations often occur in specific application: after the electric spark is generated between the center electrode and the side electrode through discharge, the electric spark is blocked by the solid cross plate, cannot be fully released, can only function in a small area, cannot fully ignite the mixed oil and gas in the combustion chamber, affects the ignition effect of the spark plug, and leads to low energy conversion efficiency of the automobile engine. This is the main disadvantage of the traditional spark plug. In order to solve the problems existing in the traditional spark plug, the Chinese utility model patent discloses a spark guiding device, which improves the structure of the side electrode (spark guiding device) of the spark plug. The improvement is mainly that the transverse plate (spark generating part) is provided with a guide part in the form of a through hole. After the electric spark is generated between the center electrode and the side electrode through electric discharge, the electric spark is released into the combustion chamber of the automobile engine through the guide of the guide part, and the mixed oil and gas in the combustion chamber are fully ignited, so that the ignition effect is remarkable, and the energy conversion efficiency of the automobile engine is improved. However, the spark plug using the spark guiding device still has the following disadvantages: the engine is not easy to start and is prone to " misfire", especially in cold and dry winter. There are two reasons for the above phenomenon. One is that the setting of the guiding part in the spark guiding device increases the actual distance between the center electrode and the side electrode and the required breakdown voltage. The second is that there is no arc striking structure with protruding tip on the side electrode. Although multiple sparks will be drawn out during successful ignition to improve the ignition effect, the difficulty of arc striking increases.
